Winter Skincare

Between the freezing temperatures outside, drying heat inside, and general lack of time, my skin was in need of some TLC. I spent ten minutes doing the below, and my skin felt softer, smoother and looked fresher afterwards.

The PHYT’s cleanser does a great job at gently but effectively removing all makeup, including eye makeup, without stinging my eyes or leaving that tight feeling. It has a creamy consistency and a fresh lemony scent.

The PHYT’s Gommage Contact + is a scrub like no other. It goes on like a mask, you let it sit on the skin for 3-5 minutes, and it softens the top layer of dead skin cells. Using your fingertips, you then roll it off in circular motions. No microbeads, no harshness, and your skin feels like silk afterwards. Even the most sensitive skins can use this.

My skin is quite dehydrated and needed an extra boost, so I then applied the Flying Wild Rose Facial Oil. This is an incredibly nourishing organic oil blend that absorbs beautifully into the skin. Fantastic for sensitive, dry, dehydrated skin.

I ended my mini facial with the PHYT’s Phytonagre moisturiser. This is a great all-round balancing, firming moisturiser for those of us concerned with the signs of aging. It’s also the go-to if hormonal imbalances are affecting your skin, particularly redness along the cheeks or nose.

I use the PHYT’s range in Nautilus and also stock their products. PHTY’s is a French brand that’s been around for over forty years, and we all know the French excel at skincare. The products are natural, organic, cruelty free, and are an amazing quality.
